About Small Groups
True connections are rarer now more than ever, as we all crave true meaningful relationships. God created us for community - both with Himself and with each other. At Blue Ash Church, Small Groups provide a community that foster these relationships both with God and with one another and are where you can belong, believe, and become.
BELONG: A place where you can meet Jesus through a group that welcomes and accepts you.
BELIEVE: A place where you can know Jesus through His Word and His people.
BECOME: A place where you can follow Jesus as you become who God has designed you to be.
Did you know there’s a word for facing one problem after another? That word is life! Life’s problems are inevitable, yet they often feel insurmountable. Here’s the good news: God is always ready and able to strengthen you in your struggles, guide you through your challenges, and draw you closer to Him.
On Easter, we will begin a new series looking at the book Breakthough and talking how to discover God’s solutions to life’s challenges.
To dive a little deeper, we will also have small groups that will meet for 8 weeks to dig into the material more. We encourage everyone to join a group. Especially if you’ve never been in a small group before, this can be an easy way to get your feet wet.
M01 - Young Adults Small Group
Young adult (post HS) bible study - we'll explore scripture, friendships, conversations about faith, and what it means to follow Jesus in the real world. Whether you're in college, working, figuring out your next step, or somewhere in between, there's a place for you here. This group will meet every other Monday from 7:00p-8:30p at Blue Ash Church starting Sept 7th. Contact Bo McKenzie for more info bozmck@gmail.com. Childcare is not available.
Tu01 - Moms in Prayer
Join Nancy Hodgdon as she leads this small group for moms and women who love kids, as they gather to pray for our children, their schools, and the next generation. Together encourage one another, follow a simple prayer format, and trust God to move in our families and our community - one prayer at a time. W01 - Before the Rush
Start the day with some coffee and a conversation about the bible. Each week we’ll look at a different verse and then discuss. This is a drop in group, so join us when you can. W02 - Is Christianity True?
This will be a 12 week workshop looking at some of the biggest questions in the Christian faith. Does God exist? Is the bible reliable? What does the bible mean by believe? We’ll have a time of teaching, some table discussions, and Q&R - Question and Response. It’s not a Q&A because we aren’t promising we will have THE answer. Th01 - Practicing Thankfulness (women’s group)
We will explore how we can switch our perspectives to view life more through the lens of abundance than of lack. We will explore what the Bible has to say about the many ways that God provides. SA01 - Men’s Coffee
This men’s coffee is lead by Andy Rainey and others each Saturday morning. Men, join us as we simply open the Bible, drink some coffee and share our insights. There is no need to be a Bible scholar, this is a time to ask some questions and share insights. This small group meets every Saturday from 8:00a - 9:00a at Blue Ash Chruch.
